Investors ready as UAE stock exchanges return to full operations
DUBAI/ABU DHABI – The UAE’s major financial markets are set to reopen on Wednesday, following temporary pauses that saw trading suspended across key exchanges.
Investors will once again be able to access Nasdaq Dubai, Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), and Dubai Financial Market (DFM), signalling a return to normal market activity.
Authorities have confirmed that all necessary precautions and monitoring measures remain in place to ensure a smooth resumption.
Nasdaq Dubai
The Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA), the independent regulator of the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), announced that Nasdaq Dubai will resume trading at 10:00 am GST.
As the international exchange based in DIFC, Nasdaq Dubai offers a platform for both regional and global investors to trade equities, derivatives, sukuk, and conventional bonds. The DFSA continues to closely monitor regional developments and maintains regular contact with local authorities and advisories to uphold market integrity.
ADX and DFM
Meanwhile, the UAE Capital Market Authority (CMA) confirmed that trading and settlement activities on ADX and DFM will also restart on Wednesday. The resumption follows coordination between the Authority and the exchanges, adhering to a previously communicated timeframe.
Authorities stressed that monitoring will continue and measures will be implemented as required to protect investors’ interests.
